Oma L. Friend

by Best Poem

Ground Floor

the longer the list, the more gears carry around
it’s not the people who fill the world but it’s
the bangs and pulls and

what you have already
what you have produced to be consumed
those things called contribution

there is a responsibility
belonging to nobody

can you name it?

Oma L. Friend lives on the outskirts of Tokyo. She was eighteen when she found her spirit in the mountains of West Virginia. Since then, she has sought to create landscapes in her writing, drawing and movement.
